[Xena and Livia start clashing swords. Xena throws her chakram right at Livia's face, who blocks it with her sword. The chakram splits in two, she drops her sword and catches both pieces.]

Ares: [watching the action from the rafters] … "Oh, yeah! Who's my girl?! Who's my girl?! You are! … [Livia starts pummeling Xena] … Oh, nice!"

Livia: [to her soldiers] … "Attack! … [all of the robed followers reveal themselves to be Roman soldiers led by Gabrielle and Virgil] … What's this?"
Xena: "You didn't think Augustus was just going to sit back and let you take his throne, did you? He was more than happy to lend me a few reinforcements. And, Eli's followers had to take a little holiday."
Livia: "Attack!"

Livia: [Xena finally gets the upper hand, and raises her reclaimed chakram to strike the final blow] … "Come on, Mother. Do it … [Mom doesn't do it, and the tables turn] … Ares was right you're weak."
Xena: [looking past Livia, who's about to kill her, up into the dome of the temple] … Eli, save my daughter. I couldn't … [to Livia] … I love you."

[A heavenly light shines down upon Xena and Livia. Livia sees Callisto passing her soul into Xena's unborn child, her birth, and many other scenes of love and strength from her earliest days before she and Xena were torn apart by Fate.]

Xena: "Livia …"
Livia: "What have I done?"
Xena: "Livia …"

Xena: [Virgil sees his opening and moves to kill Livia] … "No!"
Virgil: "I had her! Why did you stop me?! Why?!"

Gabrielle: "Xena, what happened?" Xena: "I think Eli's followers got that miracle they were praying for." Gabrielle: "What did she say to you?" Xena: "She said her name was Eve."
