Ares: [materializes into the passenger seat of the ancient U-Haul wagon] … "Come on, give us a head start. I don't think that's too much to ask, do you, Sis?"

[The wagon takes off through the forest with Xena at the "wheel"]

Athena: [to her silver-clad beauties] … "You know what to do. Let them clear the forest first, then drive them to us."

Joxer: [romping through the forest looking for the gals] … "The ocean … Xena was headed towards the ocean."

Xena: "What?!"
Ares: "It's time to fess up, Xena. They're relentless. They're going to keep coming and coming, and I think you know it. So what you need is you need me and you need me now. I'm the only one that can make this go away."

[Athena, Hades and Hephaestus send a big ole ball of flame towards the ancient U-Haul wagon, which erupts into flames and flips over the edge on the cliff toward the beach below.]

Xena: [sees Gabrielle lying on the ground] … "Gabrielle … [changes her attention to the upside down and burning wagon] … Eve … Eve! … Oh …"

Athena: [from the cliff above] … "The prophecy has been shattered."

Xena: [holding a limp and still Gabrielle] … Gabrielle … Gabrielle …"

Xena: [to the gods above on the cliff, with her sword in hand] … "Each to his own. You to yours, and me to mine!" … [tries to plunge her sword into her chest]
Ares: "No, Xena, don't."
Xena: "Ares … you can't stop me this time."
Ares: "No."
