[Chakram to the rescue. Need I say more?]Xena: [to Gabrielle] ... "Get Virgil! Get to the horses!"
Virgil: "Hurry! Hurry!"
Gabrielle: [breaks down the door to the hut] … "Come on!"
Rubio: "Why are we stopping? We must keep moving."
Gabrielle: [seeing the dammed up waterfall] … "Look's like the cannibals weren't the only ones cooking something up."Virgil: "So what's the plan?"
Xena: "I'm going back."
Rubio: "Going back?"
Xena: "I'm going back to lead the cannibals around below the dam. Gabrielle, Virgil, I want you to stay here. When you see them in position, cut the vine."
Rubio: "What about me?"
Xena: "You take the horses and get out of here."
Rubio: "Oh!" … [nods consent]
[As Xena leads more or less the entire village of cannibals through the river basin towards the dam, a few wayward cannibals begin to snoop around where Gabrielle and Virgil are stationed.]
Xena: "Come on, piggies! Come and get it! Dinner's calling!"
[Gabrielle acts decisively (despite seeing a vision of herself killing Korah) and begins to whoop some serious cannibal ass.]
Xena: "Gabrielle, now! Gabrielle! … [with her back against the cliff, fends off a few of the several hundred cannibals] … Gabrielle! … Gabrielle! (who is still kicking ass) … Gabrielle, do it now!"
[Gabrielle finally incapacitates all of the nearby cannibals and cuts the vine. Xena jumps up to the side of the cliff as the cannibals finally get a much needed washing.]Virgil: "You okay?"
Gabrielle: "Yeah."
[Rubio eats with relish]
Xena: "This sword's looking a little worse for wear. How you feeling?"
Gabrielle: "I feel better."
Xena: "I mean upstairs."
Gabrielle: "Xena, I did what I had to do. I will learn to live with my mistakes … no matter how terrible they may be. But that's the way."
Rubio: "What way?"
Xena: "Who are you, anyway?"
Rubio: "I am Rubio. But you may call me--"
Virgil: "We know."
Rubio: "Rubio."
[Gabrielle smiles, and Xena gives her one of those looks that says more than words ever could.]
